Summer should be a time for adventure, discovery, and fun. Unfortunately, it can also be a time when students lose some of the reading skills they worked so hard to develop during the school year. Educational experts often refer to this as the "summer slide." The good news is that keeping young minds engaged doesn't have to feel like school. With the right books, apps, games, and learning tools, reading can become one of the most enjoyable parts of summer.
